Now that you mention this...

Since the first steps in deploying most service machines are mostly
the same, I would suggest separating the deployment guides in two
parts: a generic part, that is the same for every vm, and a service
specific part.

Some time ago, it was that way, but I started documenting the new
deployment methods and did some cut'n'paste (not only for laciness,
but because I was in a hurry for the the presentation in Sevilla)
